# Privacy

This is a technical description of what the public website does today. It is not a house's legal notice and it does not invent retention periods or a regulatory status.

This is the SKTH platform. Every auction house lives under `/t/{house}`.

## Catalogue

Published lot text, images, estimates, prices and closing times are public. Drafts are not. Reserves are not included in public HTML, Markdown, JSON, search or MCP results. Public bid information does not include the bidder's name or email.

## Sign-in

A person who signs in has a session for their own account. That session is theirs. An agent must not copy it. Account pages, seller pages and house desks are not part of the public catalogue and are disallowed in robots.txt.

## Browser storage

The storefront remembers the light or dark theme in local storage under `skth-theme`. That preference is not a catalogue fact.

## Payments

The public pages do not ask an agent for a card number. Card handling, when a deployment has it, belongs to the payment provider and the registration screen, not to the MCP tools or the search API.
