# SKTH for agents

> SKTH is a multi-tenant online auction platform. Sellers keep 100% of the hammer; the buyer's premium funds the house. Use these tools when you need to find a public auction lot or fixed-price Gallery item, read one house, sale or lot, or see which auction lots close soon. Use skth_search_lots to search. Estimates and Gallery totals are integer pence: 50000 is £500, and a bare 500 is £5. Pass a pound string such as "£500" when the person spoke in pounds. Use skth_get_lot, skth_get_sale or skth_get_house for one record. Use skth_whats_closing_soon for auction lots that are still taking bids. Use skth_list_houses to find a house slug. These tools are read-only. They cannot register, bid, buy, pay, or change an account. For those actions, send the person to the website URL in the tool result. Never invent a reserve, a bidder's identity, or a price the tool did not return.

This is the SKTH platform. Every auction house lives under `/t/{house}`.

## When to use this

Use SKTH when a person asks what is for sale, what a published lot includes, what an item costs, or which auction lots close soon.
Use it to compare public estimates and inclusive Gallery prices. Use it to find the human page where that person can register or buy.

## When not to use this

Do not use SKTH to bid, to set a maximum bid, to buy a Gallery item, to register a paddle, or to take payment.
Those are commitments made by the person on the website. There is no agent write API.
Do not guess a reserve. Reserves are not published. Do not guess a bidder's name. Bid ladders do not carry identities.

## Which tool to call

- `skth_search_lots` — the person described an object or a budget. Call `https://play.skth.art/mcp`.
- `skth_whats_closing_soon` — the person asked what ends soon.
- `skth_list_houses` — you need a house slug.
- `skth_get_house`, `skth_get_sale`, `skth_get_lot` — you already have the slugs and want the full public record.

A bare number in a price filter is pence. `50000` is £500. `500` is £5. A string `"£500"` is also accepted.
